This was while waiting for the lift in hotel..Mohit was caught rolling in the floor clicking this as the lift opened for the shock of the ppl in there..

Flower market...Tulips were famous in Amsterdam..nice to c but a pinch in the pocket to own..5 tulips were priced at 500 rupees..:)

It was on the way side of a place called DAM (funny name isnt it??).I then got to know that we were actually standing on a place which was initially a dam :( n the whole city was built over planks drilled over the ocean.It started snowing while i took this picture..:) cha..didnt know how i forgot to capture that :(

Amsterdam like many south european cities have a three way transport..This river runs in the middle of the city and u can come across ship stops like the bus stops we have in our cities..n the boat houses how did i forget them..the govt had to pass a bill to check the number of boat houses built as ppl started building them out of their own will and whim..There wud be trams(to compensate for the subways in other european cities) in the sides followed by the normal buses.

This place is called Zaans-Schaans,famous for its wind mills..about 20 min by train from amsterdam..A must place to be if u go to amsterdam..It was very different from the city of amsterdam, a relatively sedate place..nice to be on a summer ..thou not so bad in winter too, only that u wud find a lot of snow covered fields like wot we found..

n yeah...thou i didnt take any picture of the night life in amsterdam,It was quite shocking first, then a bit bewildering before i finally got used to it as i left from the place..Probably, a person who had been to amsterdam for the first time as me wud second my thoughts :)

In all,,a "VERY different" city with a "sexy" night life, Throw ur inhibitions to dustbin n Enjoy the culture shock :D

The Best place i had ever been to...NIAGARA FALLS

I shud search for all possible adjectives n string them together to comment on this nature marvel.Nigara falls...I have seen it on tv,few film clips n hav heard ppl in infy onsite going ga-ga abt this place,but never expected this place to be so damn gud..how do i say it? kie..Am sure,any damn geek in life wud be left to stare at its beauty n gape at its splendor for the first few mins.And for a person like me who loves nature to man made wonders, this wud be his last wish.

The observation deck..The ferry (maid of mist) leaves from the base of this deck.
Maid of mist..The ferry reaches to a common point between the canadian n us border, some 200 metres from the horse shoe falls.kie about the horse shoe falls first..The niagara falls has in itself 3 falls all together, the american falls,the small bride @!@$ falls and the most famous horse shoe falls..American and bride falls are seperated by a tuna island, and easy guess they belong to US, while Horse shoe falls poses as the border bet the 2 countries..

Mouth of american falls :) The red color bridges down is called the "hurricane deck" for cave of island..Only the enthumost go there n get a splash..

I love this picture below...It jus shows the quantity of water that flows into mouth of horse shoe falls..This place is called the "terrapin point".
The ferry as i described before near the horse shoe falls..
The weather was simply a great friend during our trip..It was forecasted to rain for the weekend but we didnt have the luxury to postpone the trip for another weekend..probly,the forecast guy dint know tat with sheikh nothing happens as expected :D:D

This is the best of the lot...The bridge in the far corner is "rainbow bridge",which connects US to canada..The view from candian side is supposed to be much better at nites especially.Ob!!they have the coveted view of the horse shoe falls..

In front of an indian restaurant. I suspect if there is any indian restaurant tat carries a indian flag in india, but u can find american flags in every nook n corner of the country here.Anyways, was more than happy to find the tricolor in the foreign soil..
