The Best place i had ever been to...NIAGARA FALLS

I shud search for all possible adjectives n string them together to comment on this nature marvel.Nigara falls...I have seen it on tv,few film clips n hav heard ppl in infy onsite going ga-ga abt this place,but never expected this place to be so damn gud..how do i say it? kie..Am sure,any damn geek in life wud be left to stare at its beauty n gape at its splendor for the first few mins.And for a person like me who loves nature to man made wonders, this wud be his last wish.

The observation deck..The ferry (maid of mist) leaves from the base of this deck.
Maid of mist..The ferry reaches to a common point between the canadian n us border, some 200 metres from the horse shoe falls.kie about the horse shoe falls first..The niagara falls has in itself 3 falls all together, the american falls,the small bride @!@$ falls and the most famous horse shoe falls..American and bride falls are seperated by a tuna island, and easy guess they belong to US, while Horse shoe falls poses as the border bet the 2 countries..

I love this picture below...It jus shows the quantity of water that flows into mouth of horse shoe falls..This place is called the "terrapin point".

The weather was simply a great friend during our trip..It was forecasted to rain for the weekend but we didnt have the luxury to postpone the trip for another weekend..probly,the forecast guy dint know tat with sheikh nothing happens as expected :D:D

This is the best of the lot...The bridge in the far corner is "rainbow bridge",which connects US to canada..The view from candian side is supposed to be much better at nites especially.Ob!!they have the coveted view of the horse shoe falls..

In front of an indian restaurant. I suspect if there is any indian restaurant tat carries a indian flag in india, but u can find american flags in every nook n corner of the country here.Anyways, was more than happy to find the tricolor in the foreign soil..

I had decided to go to washington for the weekend ALONE as mohit had asked his friend of his to fly down to boston.He was undecided till the 11th hr, n fnally it was his friend's turn to ditch him n when his possibility of flying down to miami also failed, he decided to join me to washington :( So, I had to do away with the "solitude rocks!!" flag :)) n be content with "It takes 2 to tango " :D..prob i have to reserve tat as blog header for some later use in india :D

There was a huuuuuuge queue as it was a free tour..we stood in the line for almost 1/2 n hr only to get a ticket specifing the entry time as 11.30..gosh!!! Its anybodys guess wot we did after tat :)

There was a protest going on for the casualties of iraq war..They had lined the shoes of marines,army men n civilians dead in the war together..

ufff!!! This was the place over a bridge from where we had our first n last glimpse of pentagon..We were allowed to walk in but photography was prohibited in the premises...I thot as it was hardly any security arnd i wud click a few close ones ..but there came a NYPD lady with a frame of Karnam malleshwari :(( holy shit!! i have seen them only in films :(( She deleted all the snaps n the best was tat the first picture "karnam" cud lay hand on was a snap of a "no photography board"..hahahahaha ..My thadiness cud hav bought me todays' dinner in Washington cell :) Anyways,As usual talked my way through!!

Lincoln Memorial

We were down n out by the time we reached lincoln memorial..we didnt have it in us to even carry ourselves to the union station..finally managed to drag ourselves n reach for the bus in the last 10 mins. ufff!!! tat was my washington trip!! A bit of needless adventure n lots of walking as usual..
